Under Sifu Carlan Steward in 2003, he started learning Wing Chun Kung Fu and soon after Tai Chi. Until his passing, Sifu Steward was one of the longest-lasting students and later official disciple of Grandmaster David Chin.
A certified instructor of Grandmaster David Chin’s Tai Chi Association since 2008 and also recognized disciple of Sifu Chin, Gardiner continues to promote the Sin Tien Wu Ji Chi Kung system in Sacramento.
