We are a bi-cultural church of English and Cantonese (and some Mandarin) speakers located in Oakland's historic Chinatown, serving our community in the San Francisco East Bay Area.
If you are seeking a church home, we hope you will consider the Chinese Presbyterian Church of Oakland. We offer a traditional style worship service which includes hymns and liturgy.
Our Cantonese service (with Mandarin interpretation) begins at 9:45 am, while our English service begins at 11:00 am. We offer Holy Communion once a month, during a special bilingual "All Church Family" joint worship service which begins at 10:30 am. Please see our Worship page for the list of Holy Communion dates.
Music: Chancel Choir, organ, traditional and contemporary hymns.
Attire: Sunday casual.
The Chinese Presbyterian Church of Oakland believes in traditional marriage between a man and a woman, and any wedding to take place in our sanctuary needs to be Session approved.
