Dr. Phan has been practicing family medicine in the San Gabriel area since 1999. He went to UCLA for his Bachelor degree in Cybernetics. He attended the State University of New York at Brooklyn for his medical degree. Dr. Phan did his family practice residency training at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino County. He was board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Phan is fluent in English, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He also speaks a fair amount of Spanish.
Doctor Phan is very active in the community from providing free lectures and participating in free clinics to serving as directors for many skilled nursing facilities.
He is the President of Advanced Medical Doctors of California Independent Providers Association.
He is currently the Chairman of Quality Improvement Committee at Alhambra Hospital.He is the current Chief of Staff for Monrovia Memerial Hospital
Doctor Phan is admitting patients at the Alhambra Medical Center, San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, Garfield Medical Center., and Monrvia Memorial Hospital. He also admits patients to about 15 nursing homes in the San Gabriel Valley area.
He also serves as an on-call medicine consultant for the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center Geriatric Behavior Health Unit.
