Twelve Girls Band is an all female Chinese musical group that use traditional Chinese instruments to play both traditional Chinese and Western music. Formed on June 18, 2001, the band was well received in China, Japan Southeast Asia, Europe and America. Within a year, three music albums were released: "Beautiful Energy", "Miracle" and "Shining Energy”, and sold more than 2.3 million copies in total.

After 18 years, the current members of “Twelve Girls Band” are no longer the original musicians but a new generation of music elites from music colleges and universities across China. The instruments used in the performance are mainly Chinese instruments such as Guzheng, Dulcimer, Lute, Erhu, Bamboo Flute, Flute, Gourd Silk, and Lyre.
