「大庄家Journey高尔夫球场」於2023年4月3日及4日两天隆重举办第16届「Character Media」年度「高尔夫职业及业余选手混合邀请赛」（CM Pro-am）。这标志着这座世界级高尔夫球场作为「官方赞助商」举办此项赛事的第10个年头。「大庄家Journey高球场」座落於南加州特曼库拉酒乡风景如画、绵延起伏的山脉之间，是「大庄家赌场度假村」旗下锦标赛级别的顶级高尔夫球场，亦在众多亚裔高尔夫球手间享誉盛名。

Character Media’s Pro-Am高尔夫邀请赛将再次以社区活动的形式邀请Great Oak高中女子高尔夫球队的队员前来为比赛提供协助，此举将为学生们提供一次绝佳的机会来近距离接触专业球手及欣赏专业比赛。今年，Great Oak高中女子高尔夫球队将派出30余位志愿者为本次活动提供包括比赛记分在内的多方面协助。自2017年起，CM Pro-Am一直持续为Great Oak高中的高尔夫项目捐款以支持球队发展，今年的捐款数额为$2,000美元。Great Oak高中女子高尔夫球队曾於2022年夺得联赛冠军，并成功打入「加州校际联盟」（CIF）季后赛。

星光璀璨的2023年度CM Pro-Am汇聚众多「美国女子职业高尔夫协会」（LPGA）的顶尖职业球手，其中包括：刘钰（Yu Liu）、Jennifer Chang、Haeji Kang、Grace Kim及Kelly Tan等知名球星。

Jennifer Chang在2023年3月9日的「劳力士女子高尔夫世界排名」中位居第157位。她的赛季最佳成绩是在KPMG Women’s PGA Championship 美国女子职业锦标赛上创下的T10纪录。曾就读於南加大（USC）的她在大三学年结束时决定成为一名职业高尔夫球手。

来自北京的刘钰在2023年3月9日的「劳力士排名」中暂居第163位。自9岁起开始练习高尔夫球运动的她曾於2017年问鼎Tullymore Classic菁英赛冠军，并成为史上第三位来自中国的Symetra Tour巡回赛冠军。

Grace Kim曾於2019年「世界业余高尔夫排名榜」（World Amateur Golf Ranking）取得第29名的好成绩，并一举成为澳大利亚史上排名最高的女子业余高尔夫球手。她在2023年3月9日的「劳力士排名」中暂居第179位。

Haeji Kang是一名来自韩国的职业高尔夫球手，在2023年3月9日的「劳力士排名」中位居第181位。她自10岁起即开始学习高尔夫球运动，并於2008年成为职业选手。

Jaravee Boonchant童年时在泰国曼谷生活，6岁起开始练习高尔夫。在杜克大学读书期间，她曾三次入选「大西洋海岸联盟全明星」（All-ACC）阵容及四次「全美明星」（All-American）阵容。她目前位居2023年3月9日的「劳力士排名」第190位。

整个大赛期间，球座赞助商们将与众多杰出的职业高尔夫运动员并肩作战。大赛前夜，赞助商们将会获悉自己将与哪位「LPGA」职业球手对战。 大赛将於4月4日上午10时正式开打，开赛前将为球手们举行简短的新闻发布会。所有参赛选手均以18洞多人团队（scramble）锦标赛的形式参与比赛，获得最低分的团队将可最终问鼎万众瞩目的「CM Pro-Am」冠军奖杯。赛事所允许的最高分数为标准杆。

Journey at Pechanga Hosts More Than 30 Top LPGA Players in 16th CM Pro-Am April 3 & 4

Journey at Pechanga at Pechanga Resort Casino hosts Character Media’s 16th Annual Pro-am Golf Tournament on April 3 and 4, 2023. This marks the 10th year the championship course set amid the Temecula rolling hills hosts the tournament as the official sponsor. Journey at Pechanga is Pechanga Resort Casino’s premier championship golf course, already well known among many Asian golfers.  

Character Media’s Pro-Am continues to serve as a community event by inviting the Great Oak High School (GOHS) Girls’ Golf team to help with the tournament, providing the students an opportunity to meet and greet pro players and see them in action. This year, the GOHS Girls’ Golf team will provide more than 30 volunteers to assist with various areas of the event including scorekeeping. The CM Pro-Am has been donating to the GOHS golf program since 2017, and this year will donate $2,000 to support the team. The GOHS Girls’ Golf team won their league championship in 2022 and made it to the postseason of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

CM 2023 Pro-Am features many outstanding LPGA professional golfers including Yu Liu, Jennifer Chang, Haeji Kang, Grace Kim and Kelly Tan.

Jennifer Chang, Rolex Ranking 157th as of March 9, 2023, recorded a season best T10 result at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. She decided to play professionally after her junior year at USC.

Yu Liu, Rolex Ranking 163rd as of March 9, 2023, started playing golf at the age of 9. In 2017, she won the Tullymore Classic, becoming the third player from China to ever win on the Symetra Tour. 

Grace Kim reached No. 29 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in 2019, becoming Australia’s highest-ranked female amateur. She ranks 179th in the Rolex Rankings as of March 9, 2023.

Haeji Kang is a South Korean professional golfer, with a Rolex Ranking of 181st as of March 9, 2023. She started playing golf at the age of 10, turning pro in 2008.

Jaravee Boonchant started playing golf at age 6 in Bangkok, Thailand. At Duke, she was named a three-time All-ACC and four-time All-American selection. She ranks 190th in the Rolex Rankings as of March 9, 2023.

This elite group of 32 pro golfers will challenge each other on the stimulating and demanding course, along with their fans and golf partners.

Through the tournament, tee sponsors will get to swing their clubs alongside these talented golf athletes. Sponsors will find out which LPGA pro golfers they will be playing the night before the tournament. The tournament begins at 10 a.m. on April 4 following a brief press conference for the players. Players will be competing in an 18-hole scramble tournament and the team with the lowest score will win the coveted CM Pro-Am Cup. The maximum score allowed is par.
